 We recently came across an original French Army coat from Poitou dated to 1776. We matched it to an engraving of Poitou from the same year. It is in the Musée de l'Armée collection in France. We've only been able to find photos from this angle, but are trying to find more. It is really interesting to see an original regimental from around our time period, and rewarding to see our similar our  reproductions are to this.
